Recreation

The Tucker Mountain Town Forest encourages all manner of responsible outdoor activities.

Visitors are reminded to help protect the meadows, wetlands, forests and wildlife and to respect other users no matter what their choice of activities.  Hiking, hunting, horseback riding, mountain biking, skiing, snowshoeing, bird watching, off-road vehicles including snowmobiles—all have an opportunity to use the forest.

Because motor vehicles have a greater impact on the environment than other users, they are restricted to Tucker Mountain Road and the short spur road to the top.
