The new multi-purpose trail on the summit of Tucker Mountain remedies the severe erosion of the summit meadows caused by multiple, random roads haphazardly cut into the turf over the past 30 years. The meadow grasses and wildflowers were giving way to gullies of mud and gravel. The new gravel trail gives access to hikers, motor vehicles, skiers, snowmobiles, and horseback riders. It includes a short accessible trail suited to wheelchairs at the true summit.
